Wonderful Wednesday Weather!!

Well what can we say about this day - the highlight had to be Max making a one hand grab at third base on a grounder destined for foul territory - even with bum wheel Max managed to stretch out and nab the spaldeen with one hand as it was exiting the street curbside!! Spectacular!! We had our IR list players in attendance and Ed Hance performed the catching duties for Bobby who was taken by a spell of bad knees and had to exit the game. After some assistance he made his way to his cart and headed to the showers for some R and R. We wish him speedy recovery and hope to see him back soon! Dr. Phil on hand to cheer us on once again and will be calling future games via the megaphone keeping us all apprised of the situations and injecting his inimitable humor to be sure.

Not much to recap on the game as the snakes slithered off to shed their skin and return to fight another day, while the Armadillos were a hard shell bunch that took advantage of the Snake defense on the day. Armadillos defensive front line held firm while the outfield was a bit shaky.
