OPENING DAY SCP Stickball !!! 1:30 21st March

My fellow stickballers, I am really excited to announce:

Stickball season is upon us in a couple of weeks. Opening day is scheduled for Wednesday, March 21st at 2:00 PM, weather permitting.

Rainout date: March 24th at 2:00 pm

Prior to our game, !!! **(That's 1:30)** !!! we will be honoring our country by presenting the American Flag and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. Dave Miller will play a horn arrangement of Star Spangle Banner.

Unfortunately due to COVID we will not have a meeting at the amenity center prior to our opening day. For the new players that are part of our club, we have collected dues for past years to cover the cost of equipment, socials, etc.

To that end, we will be collecting dues for this year during the opening day of $10.00 for 2021. Cash or check will be accepted. If you want a shirt and hat combo it would cost you an additional $20.00 { please include your shirt size } Women with the V-Neck shirts will be a dollar less. { total $19.00 } for shirt and hat.

Sizes XXL and XXXL a dollar more. We want to thank Charlie Goldman for the merchandise.

For the players that can not attend the opening day, they can drop off the dues at the house of the commish - MAX - 834 Peach Blossom.

As a famous catcher once said " If I didn't wake up I would still be sleeping " Yes you are right....another Yogism referring to that he was relieved that he set his alarm clock. So don't forget to set your clocks ahead on March 13th.
